This course can be taken after completing the PADI Open Water Diver certification. It’s titled PADI Advanced Open Water Diver because it advances your diving knowledge & skills.

The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is best compared to a ‘Grand Dessert’. You can choose which type of dives you want to do in addition to the two mandatory dives. Hereunder I have listed some predetermined choices for you based on a theme. Off course, you can also choose your own dives and make up your own AOW course. The deep dive (allowing you to do dives up to 30 m) and the navigation dive are always a required part of the course.
